Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a Staff System Validation Engineer to drive system-level verification and validation of our humanoid robot platform in a fast-moving robotics environment. You will design and execute tests, work with Systems Engineering, Software, Controls and Product Management to ensure what we build works as intended in real-world customer environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of system-level verification and validation experience in robotics or similar complex electromechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience using robot simulation environments to develop and execute test cases.
• Experience testing robotic manipulation or locomotion systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 26262 safety standards.
• Experience in fast-paced product development balancing rigor with speed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system-level V&V plans for fully integrated humanoid robots with clear pass/fail metrics.
• Design end-to-end validation tests including manipulation, locomotion, and HRI.
• Extend validation through simulation environments and regression testing at scale.
• Apply AI-assisted analysis and data tooling to identify failure patterns and anomalies.
• Support functional safety verification and safety standards compliance.
• Develop automated test scripts and test infrastructure.
• Prepare validation reports and risk assessments for go/no-go decisions.
