Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery of software-enabled hardware capabilities for unmanned systems. You will function as a technical owner across subsystems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce reusable components across product lines.

You will engage in lifecycle design, development, testing and deployment, including manufacturing support, with travel to client sites up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to own a complex system from design through delivery.
• Holistic approach to complex robotic systems across lifecycle.
• Technical owner for subsystems with stakeholder engagement and roadmap management.
• Mentor junior engineers and build team cohesion.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own customer-deployed technology solutions delivering end-user value.
• Serve as subject-matter expert for areas such as hardware integration, testing, and cybersecurity.
• Balance end-user needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Design and implement integrated robotic systems with capabilities that evolve over time.
• Develop reusable components across multiple product lines.
• Shape development processes for full lifecycle testing, monitoring and operation.
• Support vehicle and payload manufacturing, testing and deployment.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users up to 20% of the time.
