Maxwell Bond is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to lead the development of a new mobile application and supporting cloud platform. You will work across mobile, web and cloud technologies, making key architectural decisions and writing production-quality software that interfaces with connected robotic systems and large volumes of data.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience, with strong React experience and a track record of building production software.
• Strong experience building production mobile applications and cloud-native platforms, ideally using GCP, alongside RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong software architecture, database and distributed systems experience, with SQL/NoSQL, event-driven architectures, CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development and deployment of a greenfield mobile application and supporting cloud platform.
• Build scalable REST APIs, backend services, databases and distributed systems, alongside high-performance mobile and web interfaces.
• Establish best practices across software architecture, testing, CI/CD and observability, while providing technical leadership to the wider engineering team.
