Job summary

Fresh Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to lead the software design for robotics projects, spanning embedded to cloud services. You will own system architecture, mentor teams, and advocate for robust, scalable solutions in client engagements.

You will collaborate with TPMs and cross-functional teams, shaping complex hardware-software integration while ensuring performance, reliability, and security across deployed fleets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 5+ years software development for shipped products; senior contributor.
• 3+ years software architecture leadership for hardware/embedded systems.
• Strong C++ and Python, ROS/ROS2 experience.
• Experience with telemetry, cloud services, and fleet data.

Responsibilities

• Define system structure across embedded, edge compute, middleware, cloud.
• Lead software architecture for client projects across full stack.
• Ensure performance metrics: latency, throughput, availability.
• Oversee CI/CD, testing, and release strategies.
• Provide client-facing technical guidance.
• Coordinate with hardware and mechanical leads to inform software.
• Mentor team members and support project estimation.
