Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience on shipped products.
• 3+ years of leadership in software architecture or system design for hardware/robotics.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python; experience evaluating designs.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for client projects; partner with TPM and delivery teams.
• Coordinate software architecture across embedded, edge, cloud, and data platforms.
• Define system requirements, latency/throughput/availability metrics and ensure goals are met.
• Lead fleet architecture for OTA updates, telemetry, and remote diagnostics.
• Guide CI/CD, simulation-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop testing; manage releases.
• Advise on learned vs model-based approaches, balancing latency, cost, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.
• Ensure security, data handling, and compliance considerations are integrated.
