Job summary

Code Red Partners is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer (Autonomy) to own core software architectures for autonomous platforms operating in unscripted environments. You will bridge perception, control, and core systems engineering to ship reliable software on real hardware at the edge.

The role emphasizes building low-latency software, sensor fusion, and end-to-end integration—from high-performance C++/Rust/Go to embedded interfaces and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of robotics software experience building soft-real-time software for physical platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ROS2/DDS, ZeroMQ, gRPC, or Protobuf.
• Deep proficiency in C++, Python, Rust, or Golang.

Responsibilities

• Build low-latency, soft-real-time software foundations for autonomous platforms.
• Implement and tune state estimation, sensor fusion, path planning, and track management across platforms.
• Bridge core software architectures with embedded interfaces, HIL tests, and live field deployments.
