Job summary

Oishii, the world’s leading indoor vertical strawberry farm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Robotics to lead the software stack powering autonomous harvesting.

You will build and support software across perception, motion planning, robotics interfaces, and controls, collaborating with robotics, hardware, and operations teams to deliver reliable automation solutions and improve field performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience, including robotics or automation.
• Deep expertise in C++ for scalable, reliable systems.
• Experience with Linux, Python, shell scripting, Git and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, maintain, and enhance the software stack powering autonomous robotic harvesting.
• Build and support software across perception, motion planning, SCADA communications, and controls.
• Ramp up quickly on codebase and contribute via targeted projects.
• Translate requirements into production-ready software and validate with tests.
