Job summary

Lumicity in the SF Bay Area is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to own and build simulation environments for autonomous robotics used in heavy industries. You will lead development and take ownership from day one, shaping simulation pipelines and integration with real systems.

Senior Robotics Software Engineer / Onsite / SF Bay area / ~$150k - $200k

My client is a high-growth, robotics startup that are building general purpose robots for highly-physically demanding, hazardous, and difficult industrial jobs. To help combat labor shortages, they're developing autonomous solutions to serve the construction, energy, manufacturing, and semiconductor industries. They're looking to add a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to the team that will leverage their experience to, in short, help build out simulation environments.

Required:

• Strong experience in robotics software - 5+ years
• Experienced in building out and owning robotics simulation environments
• Experienced in ROS2 and robotics middleware or DDS
• C++ and Python
• Experienced working with robotics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Omniverse, or Mujoco
• Experienced in developing software for physical systems or robotics

Bonus:
