Job summary

FANUC is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to design, develop, debug, and deliver robot software for GSSV customers. You will gather requests and craft functional specs approved by customers, interfacing with Spot, Dispense, Stud, MH, SPR, Flowdrill, Tool Changers, Project Welding, Arc Welding, Vision, Collaborative Robots.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience working with body shop applications including spot welding, riveting, clinching, flow drill, dispensing, etc.
• Experience with industrial robots and/or computer-controlled automation.
• Robot software programming experience (FANUC KAREL, TPP, etc.).

Who You Are

As our Senior Robotics Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and delivering FANUC robot software for the customers of the Global Standards Software & Validation Group (GSSV). You will be required to gather customer requests and requirements needed for current and future projects. These requests will need to be clarified by creating a functional specification that is approved by the customer. On approval of each development, you must create an internal functional specification interfacing with applications that include, but are not limited to, Spot, Dispense, Stud, MH, SPR, Flowdrill, Tool Changers, Project Welding, Arc Welding, Vision, Collaborative Robots.

You will need to be a problem-solver with a “service first” (customer-focused) mindset who has experience with FANUC technology.

What You Need
