Qualifications

• 3+ years building simulation or robotics software
• Experience with at least one modern robotics simulator (Isaac Lab/Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Drake, or similar)
• Strong Python and C++ programming skills
• Performance skills: profiled and scaled GPU-parallel workloads
• Respect for the real robot: compared sim to hardware and influenced the sim

Responsibilities

• Own the sim stack: environments, assets, robot models, and tooling
• Model actuator behavior and contact parameters based on dyno and robot data
• Make training fast with GPU-parallel environment throughput and reproducibility
• Serve sim-to-real with system-identification pipelines and domain randomization
• Catch regressions before hardware does with scenario and regression suites
• Keep CAD-to-sim-ready assets in sync so simulation tracks the built robot
