Job summary

Agility Robotics is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer in Salem, OR to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable test infrastructure for robotic systems. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Design, Systems, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams, and drive DFT/DFM practices throughout development and ramp to production.

You will own test platforms, define automated strategies, analyze data for root causes, and deploy tools for real-time quality decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of test design experience across electronics, embedded systems, and production test.
• Experience leading end-to-end test system development in robotics or related manufacturing.
• Strong Python for test software development; OO Python; C++ skills acceptable.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing test fixtures, harnesses, and production test stations.
• Familiarity with Linux/RTOS-based systems and test methodologies.
• Ability to document work instructions and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of manufacturing test platforms from requirements definition through sustainment.
• Define and drive automated production test strategies for embedded hardware.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using test data trends.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide cross-functional teams across Design, Systems, Firmware, and Manufacturing.
• Develop tools for test data collection, visualization, database integration, and automated reporting.
• Ensure test processes align with quality systems and industry standards.
• Embed Design-for-Test (DFT) and Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) principles early in development.
