Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and debug advanced robotic systems and contribute to architecture across RTOS and Linux. You will own features end-to-end, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on sensors, navigation, and hardware integration, in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Strong C/C++, embedded Linux, RTOS experience and a degree in CS/CE are required; preference for Master’s and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Embedded development experience in C/C++.
Experience with RTOS firmware and/or Embedded Linux.
Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain novel robotic systems and contribute to architectural design.
Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to validation and field issues.
Engage in design reviews and support team decisions with constructive feedback.
Provide feedback during peer reviews and develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Ramp quickly across domains including networking, security, navigation, sensors, and motor control.
