Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Senior Technical Integration Lead Engineer to guide the integration of advanced robotics, drones, and autonomous platforms. You will lead cross‑functional teams across hardware, software, sensing, and compute to deliver reliable demonstrations and field tests.

The role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on troubleshooting, and the ability to orchestrate complex demonstrations for customers and partners. Travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in robotics, computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in robotics, autonomous systems, drones, or embedded software.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary integration efforts involving hardware, software, sensing, and compute platforms.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, system architectures, networking, and real‑time software constraints.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and field test locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration, bring‑up, and deployment of Aptiv technologies on robotics, drone, and autonomous platform demonstrators.
• Serve as the technical lead for hardware and software integration activities, ensuring system readiness for demonstrations and field testing.
• Drive end‑to‑end system checkout, debugging, and validation across sensing, compute, communications, and autonomy functions.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians supporting integration, testing, and demonstration activities.
• Establish and execute integration strategies that ensure robust performance across diverse operating environments.
