Job summary

Aptiv PLC is seeking a Senior Technical Integration Lead Engineer to drive the integration and validation of robotics, drone, and autonomous platform technologies. You will coordinate across AI/ML, perception, systems, software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure demonstrations meet customer requirements and performance goals.

You will lead end‑to‑end testing, define acceptance criteria, and guide cross‑functional teams through complex field demonstrations and technology evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience developing, integrating, or validating complex robotics, autonomous systems, drones, or embedded software platforms.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary integration efforts involving hardware, software, sensing, and compute platforms.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, system architectures, networking, and real‑time software constraints.
• Experience with system bring‑up, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in field or laboratory environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel to customer sites, field test locations, and demonstration events as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration, bring‑up, and deployment of Aptiv technologies on robotics, drone, and autonomous platform demonstrators.
• Serve as technical lead for hardware and software integration activities and field demonstrations.
• Drive end‑to‑end system checkout, debugging, and validation across sensing, compute, communications, and autonomy functions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians supporting integration and demonstrations.
• Establish integration strategies ensuring robust performance across environments and use cases.
