Job summary

NEURA Robotics seeks a Senior Certification Engineer to own system-level certification strategies for robotics products, aligned with ISO/IEC standards and EU regulations. You will liaise with notified bodies, develop evidence frameworks, and guide cross-functional teams through conformity routes with a risk-based approach.

You will mentor the Certification Engineering team, forecast impact of evolving standards, and document learnings to accelerate future product approvals.

Qualifications

• Senior technical authority on certification standards and compliance strategies for robotic products.
• Develop certification strategies for novel architectures where standards evolve.
• Build and assess evidence mapping, certification case structures, and test reports.
• Engage with notified bodies and certification authorities at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Define blueprint as the senior authority on certification standards (ISO 13849, ISO 10218, IEC 61508, ISO 12100).
• Develop strategies for evolving architectures and risk-based argumentation.
• Maintain certification case structures, evidence mapping, and compliance matrices.
• Interact with TÜV, SGS, UL, Intertek and other bodies on scope and routes.
• Design and deliver training for the Certification Engineering team.
• Monitor standards evolution (EU Machinery Regulation, ISO standards) and assess impact.
• Document strategies, precedents, and lessons learned to accelerate timelines.
