Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, Behaviors to design and implement behavior trees and state machines that control high-level robotic behavior for teams of robots. You will write software integrations that enable interactions between autonomy stacks and sensors, flight controllers, radios, and other onboard systems.

You will also build software to coordinate autonomous platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel up to 25% to test and deploy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.

Responsibilities

Develop behavior software: design and implement behavior trees and state machines for teams of robots.
Autonomy integration: create software interactions between autonomy stacks and peripherals.
Multi-robot coordination: coordinate teams of autonomous platforms across networks.
Systems integration: address networking, autonomy, and robotics tradeoffs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with autonomy, hardware, systems and platform teams.
Travel up to 25% to test, debug, and deploy systems in the field.
Iterative development across prototyping, implementation, testing and deployment.
Troubleshoot and debug deployed systems for reliability.
