Genentech, a Roche group company, is hiring a Senior Principal Robotics Engineer to design, deploy, and own the robotics program for the Holly Springs site. The role includes leading AMR/AGV integration, AS/RS, and end-to-end automation within a GMP environment.

You will transition from remote/on-site work to full on-site robotics ownership, supporting a Smart Factory initiative with cross-functional teams and a focus on data integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science) with 10 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 8 years of experience.
• Proven experience in program creation and cross-functional project management; capable of leading a robotics team in the future.
• Willingness to provide 24x7 support in a on-call environment, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech robotics or automated manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, Health Authority practices, 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP Annex 11, and Data Integrity principles is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create and implement the Holly Springs robotics program from concept to full deployment.
• Serve as the site-based robotics systems owner and provide 24/7 on-site operations support once live.
• Potentially lead a team of robotics engineers as the program scales.
• Participate in Robotics Project Implementation Team (PIT) to ensure standards, connectivity, and data integrity.
• Lead Smart Factory transition by integrating AMRs, AGVs, and AS/RS across end-to-end flows.
• Develop capability roadmaps and ROI justifications for robotic interventions.
• Support end-to-end system qualification with IT/OT, including digital twin integration and enterprise architecture.
• Ensure environmental health, safety, and security alignment with SOPs and daily operations.
