Aspire Talent Solutions seeks a Lead Welding Engineer for Robotic Systems & Process Qualification in the Pewaukee, WI area. 1st shift, full-time, direct hire, compensation up to $110,000/yr with 401(k) match and comprehensive benefits.

You will lead weld process development, qualify WPS/PQR, mentor technicians, ensure AWS D1.1 and ASME IX compliance, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams on complex automation projects. Occasional client-site startup support may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in welding engineering or robotic welding leadership.
• Proven track record with WPS/PQR development and defect resolution.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead weld process development and WPS qualification.
• Mentor Robotic Welding Technicians and review weld programs.
• Ensure code compliance and defect analysis across projects.
• Support equipment integration and commissioning.
