Job summary

DRMP is seeking a Roadway Project Manager to lead FDOT roadway design projects from concept to completion in Deland, FL. You will head a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule and within budget while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET) and a Florida PE license, with 10+ years’ roadway design experience. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET‑accredited university.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of transportation roadway design experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project Manager for FDOT roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Lead the Project Team of engineers and designers for roadway plans.
• Collaborate with clients, sub-consultants, and staff to deliver quality work on schedule and budget.
• Mentor junior engineers to develop future project managers.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to support growth and opportunities.
• Support business development, including proposals and client presentations.
