GAI Consultants, Inc is seeking an experienced Roadway Project Engineer to join our Indiana Transportation Team. The role focuses on roadway design for INDOT and local agencies, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and lead project tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in civil engineering, an Indiana Professional Engineer license or reciprocity within 6 months, and strong skills in CADD and Open Roads.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license in Indiana or reciprocity within 6 months preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, design expertise, and problem solving are required.
• Experience with INDOT standards, specifications, and deliverables for Federally Funded Projects.

Aufgaben

• Roadway design for INDOT and Local Public Agency (LPA) clients.
• Create and review project design calculations, quantities takeoffs, specs, plans and contract documents.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers in plan development and reporting.
• Apply INDOT design manual and AAHTO principles to highway design.
• Utilize roadway design CAD software and Open Roads.
• Occasional site visits and travel to client meetings.
