Qualifications

• High School Diploma and extensive construction experience required.
• Experience on roadway construction projects.
• Valid Utah driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents.
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures.
• Prepare daily work reports; maintain documentation of contractor work performed, materials testing and traffic control.
• Inspect road and bridge construction based on UDOT Standards.
• For senior inspector positions, supervise 3–4 people and have experience with UDOT documentation.
