WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Senior Construction Inspector (UDOT CTP Level III) in Utah to join our Construction Management Team. You will read plans, monitor conformity with specs, quantify installed materials, and document daily field activities for Utah DOT projects.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma, 7+ years of construction experience, UDOT Masterworks training, UDOT CTP Level III, ACI Level I/II, and a Utah driver's license. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 7 years of construction experience.
• UDOT Masterworks trained.
• UDOT CTP Level III certification.
• ACI Level I or II Concrete Certification.
• Experience on UDOT projects.
• Valid Utah driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents.
• Measure, document quantities of installed materials per client policies.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain documentation of contractor work and materials testing.
• Inspect road and bridge construction per UDOT standards.
• Senior roles: supervise 1–2 staff and manage UDOT documentation.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.

WSP is currently initiating a search for aFull-Time Senior Construction Inspector (UDOT CTP Level III) for ourUtahoffice for projects based in Utah.Be involved in projects with ourConstruction Management Teamand be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures
• Prepare daily work reports; prepare and maintain documentation of contractor work performed, materials testing and traffic control based on construction plans and specifications; using Masterworks, spreadsheets, and other electronic or manual means
• Inspect road and bridge construction (based on UDOT Standards)
• For senior inspector positions, ability to supervise 1-2 people and experience with UDOT documentation
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 7 years of construction experience
• UDOT Masterworks Trained
• UDOT CTP Level III
• ACI Level I or Level II Concrete Certification
• Experience on UDOT projects
• Valid Utah driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bituminous Paving Experience
• Concrete Paving Experience
• Direct experience working for UDOT or another firm with UDOT exposure
• ATTSA Traffic Control Certification, Sampling Reduction & Density (SRDTT), Moisture/Density Gauge Certification, ACI or CTT Concrete Certification or the ability to become certificated within 1 month of hire
