Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-Time Senior Construction Inspector (UDOT CTP Level III) for our Utah office. The role involves overseeing construction for compliance with project plans and specifications on UDOT-related projects, with duties including daily reporting and documentation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 7+ years of construction experience, UDOT Masterworks training, UDOT CTP Level III, and an ACI certification, plus a Utah driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 7 years of construction experience.
• UDOT Masterworks Trained.
• UDOT CTP Level III certification.
• ACI Level I or II Concrete Certification.
• Experience on UDOT projects.
• Valid Utah driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents.
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials per client policies.
• Prepare daily work reports and maintain documentation of contractor work performed, materials testing and traffic control.
• Inspect road and bridge construction per UDOT standards.
• Senior inspector positions: supervise 1-2 people and have UDOT documentation experience.
• Exercise ethical use of company funds and adhere to Code of Conduct.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
