Job summary

H&H is seeking a team-focused, dynamic civil highway engineer to support roadway design projects in Northern New England. You will participate in client meetings, manage design tasks, and coordinate with regulatory agencies as part of our Civil Highway Group.

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) familiar with MaineDOT and/or NHDOT Standards for Design.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage small design groups and projects and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Produce roadway/transportation-related designs for new or rehabilitation roadway projects.
Attend client project meetings, participate in proposals/presentations, manage tasks and meet with regulatory agencies.
Coordinate with design team; mentor less experienced engineers in producing Plans, Specifications and Estimates.
Handle project communications, scheduling, budgeting and progress on multiple tasks.
Assist in local marketing, including proposals and municipal functions.
