Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. seeks a Lead Roadway Engineer to drive roadway design across Colorado transportation projects, coordinating with PMs and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver from concept through PS&E and construction support.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients, review designs, and contribute to workflow improvements while expanding into project management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license required; Colorado licensure preferred or obtainable within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design execution for transportation projects with PMs and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor engineers and review designs to ensure quality and drive department standards.
• Coordinate with clients to understand technical needs and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to design production, plan preparation, and quantity development across projects.
