Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Roadway Design Engineer in Memphis, TN to lead mid- to large-scale transportation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and stakeholders, developing budgets and schedules, directing design staff and subconsultants, and maintaining QA/QC plans while pursuing BD opportunities with existing clients.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• P.E. license in good standing.
• Minimum five years of PM/execution experience on transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Confirm project scope with client and stakeholders and set expectations.
• Develop project budgets, staffing plans, and man-hour estimates.
• Lead kickoff meetings and manage schedule, milestones, and cost.
• Supervise design team, subconsultants, and vendors.
• Ensure QA/QC, documentation, and invoicing compliance.
