Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to contribute to the planning and design of roadway infrastructure projects, including intersections, arterials, expressways, interstates, and interchanges. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mobility solutions for our DOT and municipal clients.
The role requires a PE licensure with the ability to obtain TN licensure within 6 months, and a minimum of 6 years of roadway design experience along with an ABET-accredited
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
- Minimum of 6 years of roadway design experience, including DOT projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with ability to obtain TN licensure within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables for roadway design projects.
- Perform roadway design for intersections, arterials, expressways, interstates, and interchanges using DOT standards and CAD tools.
- Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and design reports.
- Conduct geometric design including alignments, cross sections, and pavement design.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support client meetings.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
