Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Transportation, Orange County Maintenance Unit in Hillsborough, is seeking a Transportation Worker IV (S). This role performs preventive maintenance, repair, and construction on state roads, operating multiple equipment types on a regular basis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies including snow removal and traffic incidents.
• Monitor contract work and supervise manual tasks.
