Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead road paving projects in the United States. You will oversee scheduling, safety, budgets, and field coordination to deliver on time and within cost.

The role requires a college degree and 5+ years in road construction, with supervisory experience and strong communication with subcontractors, owners and officials. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• College degree required with 5+ years in road construction.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of grades/drainage and math.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment.
• Oversee, schedule, and direct paving/road construction projects.
• Manage profit and loss on assigned projects.
• Communicate with subcontractors, owners and government officials.
• Track project status and costs.
• Review and approve paperwork (timesheets, daily reports, tickets).
• Support progress of projects as needed.
• Coordinate with shop on equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Establish long-term plan for each project and coordinate with other projects company-wide.
• Maintain quantities balance for projects.
• Handle administrative duties timely.
