Job summary

CRH APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee paving and road construction projects in the Tupelo, MS area.

The role requires leadership, strong math and drainage knowledge, and the ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and government officials to ensure on-time, safe project delivery. Ideal candidates have a college degree and 5+ years in road construction, with supervisory experience and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• College degree is required with 5+ years of road construction experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of grades and drainage; solid math skills.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
• Oversee, schedule, and direct paving/road construction projects.
• Manage profit and loss for assigned projects.
• Maintain communications with subcontractors, owners, and government officials.
• Know project status and costs; supervise paperwork flow (timesheets, reports, tickets).
• Assist in progressing work and coordinate equipment maintenance with the shop.
• Plan long-term project strategies to optimize equipment use and avoid downtime.
• Maintain balance on project quantities and handle administrative duties.
