APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead asphalt paving projects from award to completion in Mississippi. You will work with operations teams, customers and partners to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget outcomes.

The role emphasizes scheduling, budgeting, cost control and strong communication. Opportunity to contribute to estimating when needed in a dynamic infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects, preferably heavy civil, roadway or related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and construction documents.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to safety.
• Estimating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead asphalt paving project execution from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts and production plans.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and Operations to meet safety, quality, schedule and profitability goals.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, subcontractor performance and overall progress.
• Review quantities, pay estimates and invoicing; manage financial performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and proactively identify solutions to keep projects moving forward.
