Century Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Florida is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead nursing staff and coordinate patient care. The role requires experience in long-term care and collaboration with the ADON and Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• RN Unit Manager must oversee nursing staff and patient care.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Coordinate with ADON and Director of Nursing.

Responsabilités

• Interpret facility policy and state law as related to nursing services.
• Participate in facility safety procedures and programs.
• Inform ADON of nursing activities, needs, problems, and unusual events.
• Recommend purchase of supplies and equipment for nursing service.
• Perform routine checks on staff, timecards, equipment, materials, supplies, etc.
• Recommend hiring, promotion, suspension, and termination of nursing staff.
• Assist with in-service education programs and follow up to evaluate effectiveness.
• Investigate and report complaints.
• Charge the Floor in the absence of charge nurse with daily duties.
