Job summary

Palatka Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a qualified RN Unit Manager to lead nursing staff and coordinate patient care on a scheduled shift. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and therapeutic outcomes within the facility’s established policies.

The ideal candidate has long-term care or skilled nursing experience and will work closely with the ADON and Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care and compliance with Florida regulations.

Qualifications

• RN license required or pending licensure

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and coordination of nursing services for scheduled shift
• Ensure safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care
• Coordinate with other shifts for continuity of care in the absence of the ADON/Director of Nursing
• Perform activities to maintain compliance with facility policies and state regulations
• Monitor staff timecards, supplies, and equipment; participate in hiring decisions as needed
• Assist with in-service education and follow up to evaluate effectiveness
