Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Coral Reef Subacute Care Center in Miami to join our team as a full-time or part-time employee. The RN will perform administrative duties, supervise licensed and non-licensed staff, and help maintain a quality assurance program to coordinate nursing services with resident care.

Requirements include a current Florida RN license, 2 years supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• 2 years of supervisor experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care facility preferred.
• Completion of post-secondary education and ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Able to maintain regular attendance and adapt to a flexible schedule including evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Day to day supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff including counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain a quality assurance program for the nursing unit.
• Develop methods for coordinating nursing services with resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Make independent decisions when warranted and interact tactfully with staff, residents, families, and regulators.
• Ensure knowledge of nursing and medical practices and regulations governing long-term care and demonstrate leadership.
