Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC – The Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in full-time or part-time roles. The RN will oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with long-term care standards.

Responsibilities include completing medical forms, supervising staff, coordinating nursing services, and maintaining a quality assurance program. A Florida RN license and flexible scheduling are required to support patient-centered care in a busy subacute

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in hospital or long-term care
• Post-secondary education; able to read, write, and follow directions
• Flexible schedule including evenings, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff; counsel, evaluate, and conduct in-service and disciplinary actions
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, staff, and government personnel
• Ensure knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, laws, and regulations for long-term care
• Demonstrate leadership and supervise other personnel
