Job summary

University Health & Rehabilitation Center in Durham, NC, is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to lead the nursing team and ensure delivery of high-quality care. You will supervise staff, oversee resident care plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain clinical excellence.

You will provide guidance, train new employees, handle shift emergencies, and ensure adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered RN license in North Carolina.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Salaried/exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed.
• Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
• Assist in training and orientation of new employees.
• Handle emergencies or issues during shifts following established protocols.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional resident care.
