Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care‑focused team in Boca Raton, FL. The RN will uphold nursing standards, perform assessments, coordinate with physicians, and supervise practical staff to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• MS/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
• Nursing experience with clinical competence and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice.
• Performs required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Participates in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies affecting nursing practice.
• Follow facility procedures for admitting residents and documentation.
• Count or ensure the counting of controlled drugs with shifts.
• Coordinates/prepares MDS schedules for quarterly, annual, and significant change assessments.
• Develops care plans that meet resident needs and revises them as needed.
• Monitors provision of care and ensures reporting and documentation are timely and accurate.
• Interprets nursing philosophy and objectives to residents and families.
• Maintains medication administration accuracy and investigates errors.
• Transcribes physician orders and communicates with the health care team.
• Adheres to Nurse Practice Act and regulatory regulations.
• Ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies.

Education
