Responsibilities

• Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families with varying needs from uncomplicated to highly complex.
• Collaborates with nurse leaders and colleagues to develop standards of care.
• Documents a plan of care communicating individualized needs of patients with highly complex problems.
• Identifies and evaluates long and short-range goals of nursing interventions.
• Acts as a patient advocate by communicating clinical concerns to the health care team.
• Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure safety and quality.
• Promotes patient safety goals and quality metrics in line with regulatory requirements.
