Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years of hire/reclassification date.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.
• Deliver patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious and environmental needs.
• Coordinate care, health teaching and promotion, and evaluation of goals and interventions.
• Participate in shared governance and professional development to promote leadership and clinical excellence.
