Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a highly experienced Security Controls Assessor Representative (SCAR) to join our on-site team at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. The role focuses on obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) by applying RMF across AFNWC weapon subsystems and IT systems, advising SCA/AO, and ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements.

The candidate should possess 10+ years in related roles, strong RMF/NIST knowledge, and hands-on expertise with scanning tools, logs, SSPs, SARs,

Qualifications

• Mastery of RMF with seven steps and SP 800-53 application.
• Experience with Windows/Linux OS hardening and STIGs.
• Hands-on vulnerability scanning and log analysis to assess security posture.
• Experience writing SSPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and advise SCA/AO throughout RMF process.
• Develop and review System Security Plans (SSPs).
• Prepare Security Assessment Reports (SARs) and manage POA&Ms.
• Identify residual risks and communicate them to AOs.
• Collaborate with ISSOs, ISSMs, PMs, and AO representatives on-site at Hill AFB.
