Job summary

IPSecure, LLC seeks an Information Assurance Engineer III with active TS/SCI clearance for JBSA Lackland in San Antonio, TX. You will lead RMF activities, maintain authorization readiness, and develop security artifacts across DoD environments.

You will coordinate with ISSOs, system owners, and engineers, review DoD/NIST controls, and guide leadership with risk-informed recommendations. On-site role emphasizing continuous monitoring and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, IT, CS, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Certifications: CISSP-ISSMP, GSLC, CCSP or CISSP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF activities across the authorization lifecycle.
• Maintain continuous authorization readiness for certification packages.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity evidence, POA&Ms, and compliance artifacts.
• Coordinate RMF activities with ISSOs, ISSMs, system owners, engineers, and government officials.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Support reviews, monitoring activities, and compliance assessments.
• Ensure documentation reflects system architecture and implemented controls.
• Integrate vulnerability scans into monitoring and remediation processes.
• Update DISA STIGs-aligned baselines and ensure evidence is audit-ready.
