Job summary

You will collaborate with more senior analysts on transaction analysis, run models and perform spreadsheet analysis to evaluate credit risk and cash flow coverage for RMBS transactions, and present reviews at rating committees. The role emphasizes development of legal and accounting understanding, contribution to research reports and press releases, and effective communication of rating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or higher.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in capital markets, securitization, mortgage markets, or credit analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of non-agency RMBS transactions.
• Produce quality internal and external written reports, including credit committees, criteria, special reports, and market commentary.
• Communicate Fitch rating methodology and criteria to issuers and investors.
• Deployment and implementation of cash flow models and tools used in the rating process.
• Lead and/or support research projects.
