Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products and is seeking a Senior RMA Repair Technician in Newburgh, IN. You will lead advanced diagnosis, repair, and documentation for returned electronic assemblies, ensuring quality and timely turnaround.

This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency with test equipment, and the ability to mentor a repair team in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with Customer Success, Engineering, and Quality is essential.

Qualifications

Requires ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and BOMs.
Experience diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic assemblies.
Experience leading technicians and mentoring a repair team.
Strong documentation of test results, actions, and disposition.
Willingness to work onsite in Newburgh, IN with occasional collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead testing, troubleshooting, repair, and validation of returned electronics.
Perform advanced diagnostics using schematics and test equipment.
Determine repairability vs scrap based on findings and guidelines.
Disassemble/reassemble products to access internal components and verify operation.
Document results, root cause findings, and actions taken in systems.
Prioritize incoming RMAs to meet customer commitments and timelines.
Maintain inventory to support repairs and control department stock.
Provide training and technical guidance to repair technicians.
