Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Bank Risk Officer to drive risk management for the Commercial Bank, including Middle Market Banking, asset finance, and related credit processes. This leader will set risk strategy, oversee execution, and guide a team of risk professionals across multiple business units.

The role requires extensive experience in risk controls, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to translate risk into actionable governance and monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in controls functions such as Line of Business Risk, Enterprise Risk, Audit, Credit Review, or related areas.
• Proficient in Archer and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive risk culture and disciplined risk management aligned to Huntington’s risk appetite.
• Define, document, and build controls for key processes.
• Develop comprehensive testing plans for first line validation of findings, issues, and controls.
• Lead governance forums and support audits/regulatory reviews.
