Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Risk to own the product strategy and roadmap for fraud, account takeover, and scam risk across the platform.

You will partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Risk Analytics to ship products that protect millions of customers and assets while keeping user experience fast and frictionless. You will lead cross-functional teams to define vision, priorities, and success metrics, translating complex risk trade-offs into clear business impact

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on risk, fraud, trust and safety, or payments in a consumer fintech or e-commerce environment.
• Proven track record shipping risk/fraud products that reduced loss rates or improved detection.
• Deep fluency in data-driven decision-making with metrics, experiments, and ML model interpretation.
• Experience partnering with engineering and data science to build real-time risk systems.
• Ability to communicate risk trade-offs to senior leadership; translate concepts into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for one or more risk domains (e.g., ATO prevention, scam detection, payment fraud).
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Data Science, and Design from concept to launch.
• Partner with Risk Analytics and ML teams to translate signals into product requirements and control strategies.
• Lead experimentation and measurement of risk interventions, analyzing impact on fraud rates and customer friction.
• Shape long-term risk product strategy by analyzing industry trends and regulatory shifts.
