Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Risk to own the product strategy and roadmap for fraud, account takeover, and scam risk across the platform.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Risk Analytics to ship products that protect customers while preserving a fast, frictionless experience. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate risk signals into requirements, and run experiments to quantify impact on fraud and user experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with focus on risk, fraud, trust and safety, or payments.
• Proven track record shipping risk or fraud products reducing losses or improving detection.
• Fluency in data-driven decision making with metrics, experiments, and ML model performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for risk domains (ATO prevention, scam detection, payment fraud).
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Data Science, and Design from concept to launch.
• Partner with Risk Analytics and ML teams to translate signals into product requirements and controls.
• Lead experiments and measure impact on fraud rates, false positives, and user friction.
• Shape long-term risk product strategy considering industry trends and regulatory changes.
