Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is looking for an experienced backend/lead engineer to architect and build a scalable risk intelligence platform.

You’ll work with Golang microservices, Python, and multiple databases to deliver high-performance backend services for hybrid environments including on-prem and cloud. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to define priorities, ensure reliability, and mentor engineers while pushing architectural improvements and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of production experience in large-scale distributed systems.
• Expertise in object-oriented languages with strong typing (Golang, Python).
• Experience designing scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS preferred).
• Solid distributed systems concepts: concurrency, caching, sharding, eventual consistency.
• Kafka experience for messaging and data pipelines.
• AI-enabled decision-making experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services for internal and customer-facing apps.
• Build intuitive tooling and APIs that integrate with the platform ecosystem.
• Architect supporting systems: databases, data pipelines, monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document interfaces.
• Ensure high availability, monitoring, and incident response for production services.
• Drive architectural improvements and performance optimizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical decisions.
• Maintain robust operations and service reliability across environments.
