Job summary

The role partners with senior leadership on risk topics affecting multiple businesses, ensuring policy maintenance and effective escalation of issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years' higher education and/or work experience, including 7 years' relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and reporting of the business unit's first line of defense risk management function and internal controls.
• Drive development, execution and reporting of the risk-based testing program.
• Oversee risk reporting to management and risk committees; support the First Line Risk Officer.
• Monitor KRIs and prepare comprehensive KRIs reporting
• Ensure timely completion of RCSAs and remediation plans; review risks and losses for inclusion in RCSAs and KRIs.
• Identify emerging risks from new products/services/markets and report to risk committees.
• Oversee maintenance of policies and respond to internal/external policy requests.
• Coach and mentor staff; manage test results and liaise with Internal Audit and Compliance.
