M&T Bank Corporation in Baltimore seeks an experienced leader to manage the first line of defense risk management for the Investment Bank and Institutional Broker-Dealer, aligning with the Enterprise Risk Framework.

You will oversee KRIs, RCSAs, control testing, escalation of issues, remediation plans, and reporting to risk committees, while coaching staff and partnering with leadership on risk topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, execution, and reporting of the business unit's first line of defense risk management function.
• Ensure documentation of key processes and internal controls.
• Develop and oversee risk-based testing program and ensure testing adheres to guidance and standards.
• Oversee risk reporting to management and risk committees.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff and ensure remediation of issues.
