Amentum is actively seeking a Risk Mitigation Specialist to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency's Office of Entity Vetting. You will oversee risk indicators, craft mitigation plans, and guide a team through complex reviews and reports in a mission-critical environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years in risk management, with strong data analysis, communication, and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 8 years in risk management or related field.
• Experience with data analysis and trend assessment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee RMSs addressing risk indicators with clear rationale and residual risk actions.
• Adhere to internal style guides before dissemination.
• Manage a portfolio of companies under mitigation and provide coaching to junior staff.
• Conduct peer reviews and identify improvement areas; manage workflows and deadlines.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to supervisors; respond to information requests.
